This project will operate in 17 municipalities located in 7 of the poorest provinces in Mindanao, which include Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte and Surigao del Sur in the Caraga Region, and Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), North Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat, in Central Mindanao. A total of 7,870 households from upland, lowland and coastal poor communities will directly benefit from project activities. It will indirectly benefit 56,350 households in 17 municipalities as a result of improved capacity to plan and implement climate -sensitive local government policies and programs.
