Construction of Small-Scale Facilities for Climate Change Adaptation in Mindanao

This project has two major components: provision of small -scale agricultural infrastructure and capacity building. For the infrastructure: six units of mechanical flat -bed dryers with warehouses and one unit of granulating machine are set up for cassava post -harvest processing in Lanao Sur; three units of solar dryers with warehouse are set up for rice and corn post -harvest processing and concrete canal of the communal irrigation in Sultan Kudarat. For capacity building, key community members, especially women, are trained on organizational management, leadership, maintenance, and finance management.
