The Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) is a global partnership which works to support the efforts of vulnerable developing countries to reduce disaster risk. It is multi country initiative managed by the World Bank and is mandated to promote mainstreaming of disaster reduction and recovery and climate change adaption in country development strategies. The total value of this multi-country program over four years is $18.7 million, starting 2009-10.
