AANZFTA Economic Cooperation Support Program

The ASEAN- Australia- New Zealand- Free Trade Area (AANZFTA) Economic Cooperation Support Program (AECSP) assists developing ASEAN member states to implement their commitments under the AANZFTA and thus participate in the benefits of greater trade liberalisation and regional economic integration. The program funds an AANZFTA Support Unit within the ASEAN Secretariat and the delivery by that Unit of the Economic Cooperation Work Program (ECWP) activities. The total value of this initiative is $15.4 million over 6 years, starting 2008-09.
