The Philippines Australia Human Resource and Organisational Development Facility (PAHRODF) is the follow-on phase to the on-going Philippines Australia Human Resource Development Facility (PAHRDF) completed in 2010. Each year, PAHRODF supports 10 to 12 local agencies to help them get things done. Australia provides a variety of short-term training, together with long-term scholarships for study in Australia. At least 600 talented Filipinos will undergo post-graduate study in Australia between 2010 and 2015. This support helps an agency to become more efficient and effective in doing business. It also helps forge enduring people-to-people links between Australia and the Philippines. The total value of this initiative is $74.0 million over 8 years, starting 2008-09.
