Increased capacity of older women and men particularly those belonging to the IP coommmunities through the establishment of 50 Community Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Committees (CDPPC) and to build their capacity to reduce community vulnerability to multiple natural disasters and the specific issues faced by older women and their children and to advocate with policy makers, government disaster preparedness agencies, media, donors and NGOs in the Philippines and regionally to include older and vulnerable populations in DRR policies and programmes
