Ensuring child and women protection in conflict-affected communities in Maguindanao Province

1.To support the municipal and barangay local government units in implementation and institutionalization of barangay council for protection of children (BCPC)in communities affected by armed conflict, rido and political violence in province of Maguindanao. 2. To improve the protective environment for children in the target areas of Maguindanao. 3. To enhance capacities of BCPCs and CBCPNs on basic human rights, child rights/child protection, monitoring/documentation & reporting through training workshop/orientation/coaching. 4. To advocate and promote the respect for human rights, child rights/child protection inconflict affected communities through education/awareness raising with state and non state actors and different key stakeholders. 5. To establish community based referral system for cases of GCRVs and other child protection issues in conflict affected communities to ensure access to medical, psychosocial care and other services.
