Life-saving and early recovery food assistance to the people affected by Bohol earthquake

The overall goal of the cluster's proposed activities is to support life-saving and early recovery needs of internally displaced persons whose food and nutrition security has been adversely affected by the earthquake. Provision of vital food assistance will be through general food distribution, school feeding in emergency, and Food for Work. The cluster will encourage the participation of women in Food for Work activities, and, to the extent possible, ensure that women are the direct recipients of assistance. The specific objectives include: 1. Assist the most vulnerable persons through the provision of vital food assistance 2. Restore and rebuild lives and livelihoods by creating/rehabilitating productive assets through community-owned Food for Work activities.
