At least 25,000 poor and vulnerable women, men and children displaced by Tropical Storm Washi in 20 sites (evacuation centres, temporary relocation sites, home-based settings) in the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan are provided with immediate, life-saving WASH support, following Sphere minimum standards, to reduce public health risk and improve their living conditions, with the internally displaced persons (IDPs) themselves involved in the designing, management and maintenance of the WASH services that will be provided while ensuring that their rights are respected.
