Building Resilient Communities Through Effective WASH Governance

This project aims to put in place effective WASH governance capacitating targeted LGUs and returned internally displaced persons (IDPs) , especially women and children, to implement community -based WASH programmes within a DRR framework. This will be done through traning programs on WASH in DRR; institutionalizing WASH structures such as WASH task forces across all levels of the LGUs and linking these to existing DRR structures. Advoacy and lobbying will be dont to include prioritization of WASH among key government offices at the provincial and municipal levels, especially in increasing access to clean and potable water for returned IDPs, especially women and children.
