WITHDRAWN Typhoon Bopha: Enabling Service Delivery and Livelihood Activities for Indigenous People’s Communities

The project aims to clear debris and mudslides on the access roads which currently impedes service delivery to IP communities in at least 4 municipalities in Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley. In the process of debris clearance, emergency livelihood opportunities will be created that facilitate the early recovery. In particular, the programme has the following objectives. To: 1. Restore access to the IP communities affected by the typhoon; 2. Provide 2,000 IP families with emergency livelihood opportunities through cash for work and comprehensive debris management; 3. Strengthen local disaster risk reduction management structures.
