Ensuring Well-being of Out of School Youth & Children (OSYC) in Returned & Resettled Sites for Conflict Affected Communities.

A. General Objectives: 1. To respond to the needs of OSYC-IDPs (Out of School Youth and Children-Internally Displaced Persons) in returned and resettled sites from socio-emotional stress. 2. To ensure and enhance well-being linked with recreational and creative activities via psychosocial components. B. Specific Objectives: 1. Minimize psychosocial stress and mental complexity among the children and youth sector especially in areas prone to conflict and resettled sites that are in dire situation. 2. Promote, enhance and advocate awareness on the importance and value physical and mental health among communities by means of a support group. 3. Develop various social, mental, communication, survival skills and coping mechanisms among the target clients specially those who live in areas not covered during the Phase 1 implementation. 4. Advocate for the provision of necessary infrastructure support for target clients as the Children & Youth Development Center(CYDC) and vehicle for the Psychosocial Mobile Squad. 5. Advocate a support group in barangay who will monitor, report and readily promote health and mental health education in the grassroots level. Capacitate them through trainings.
